- Replace transmission oil and filter in good time. Change the automatic transmission fluid and consumables at the intervals specified in the manufacturer's service manual.
- Only use oils that recommended by the manufacturer.
- Visually inspect the automatic transmission every two months. This helps to detect leaks in time and to keep the oil pressure at the right level.
- Clean the heat exchanger regularly. Have it cleaned in a workshop every time you have the automatic transmission oil changed.
What happens if your transmission overheats?

Oxidized transmission oil can no longer achieve the required level of lubrication, anti-wear protection, anti-locking and anti-oxidation and can therefore no longer protect the parts of your car from wear.
High temperatures lead to the formation of carbon deposits, which impair the function of valves and solenoids and clog oil passages.
